THE BRIEF

LADbible have been transforming what and how they communicate with their growing audience since 2012 and recently saw an opportunity to spark conversation on the harassment of women. After researching and finding some extremely disturbing, but unfortunately not surprising, stats, LADBible wanted to raise awareness that some ‘banter’ is harassment and intimidating for women and requested the campaign be bold, snappy and have some serious attitude.

THE SOLUTION

A bold campaign that plays into ‘LAD’ banter and highlights some of the things men shout at women when they’re walking down the street. The campaign's tagline of ‘don’t be a DICK!’ has a ‘punch your mate in the arm when they’re saying something wrong’ feel and utilises stats from the World Health Organisation to drive home the message. These stats paired with a striking red and direct tone of voice gives a sense of urgency to the campaign and speaks directly to the audience.
