THE BRIEF

Inspired by Spotify's "Wrapped"; Sainsbury's wanted to share interesting facts, that were personalised utilising transactional data, with their customers as a mid-year review to encourage them to continue to eat better.

THE SOLUTION

Worked closely with an Art Director, Copywriter and Creative Director to create 3 email variants to target customers with different content. Whilst these were informative emails, one variant focussed on encouraging customers to download the Nectar app as the average Nectar app user collects 3.5x more points which was a great data hook. Dynamic content was pulled through as well as utilising dynamic product images from the website to make the emails super personalised. The results were really positive! We focused on the Open Rates (OR) for engagement as the emails were for informative purposes. Variant 1 OR - 58.52% Variant 2 OR - 55.44% Variant 3 OR - 61.16% The emails were bespoke built by a developer using Salesforce.
