THE BRIEF
AudioUK wanted a new visual identity for the Audio Production Awards, ensuring the event collateral would be future proofed. They wanted the design to reflect its corporate side whilst adding an element of showbiz/celebration. The designs needed to be in keeping with the brand guidelines and mindful of print costs.
THE SOLUTION
A look and feel that nods to the corporate side of the brand but brings a celebratory tone to the event. As the event is about Radio and Audio I focused on visualising sound to create the main graphic element of the design. I explored how these sound waves could be used across the different touch points and in different ways e.g using colours and varying sized waves to create pace across the deliverables. The deliverables were vast and consisted of: Event presentation, social posts & animations for the categories/nominations and winners, event signage & posters, lanyards, artwork for award engraving, digital event programme pdf and email signatures for all category nominations & winners.
